Production Manager

This role is for a senior-level Production Manager to manage our Evening Shift.  Leading a growing team of more than 300 people the Production Manager will be part of our manufacturing management team and will report to the Head of Manufacturing Operations.

The Job

This senior role will be responsible for our entire evening shift including.

  • Lead, mentor, develop and direct the work of the team to meet safety, operational and quality standards
  • Secure products are produced to a high quality and in accordance with their specification
  • Deliver production output in accordance with the production schedule
  • Management and development of a team of more than 300 employees
  • Resource and capacity management to fulfil market expectations
  • Identification and delivery of improvement projects
  • Being a role model and ambassador for Ei’s values

The Person

Our ideal colleague will have the following profile,

  • Degree in an engineering, science, production or project management discipline
  • +7 years’ experience managing a large team in a high-volume manufacturing setting
  • Thorough knowledge of production management principles
  • Experience in 5S, Kaizen and other lean methodologies
  • Results orientated with a proven track record in implementing change and improvements that positively impact the business
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proven strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with all parts of our business
  • Strong leadership and proven skill in developing people
