Ei’s UK subsidiary, Aico reached a major milestone in 2025, celebrating 35 years in business. Founded in 1990 in Oswestry, Aico has grown from a small local operation into the European market leader in home life safety, known for reliable products, strong technical support, and a long‑standing commitment to innovation. Reflecting on the anniversary, Managing Director Neal Hooper described 2025 as “a truly special year” for the company.

Over the past three and a half decades, the company has grown from its beginnings in Oswestry to become a leader in residential fire and carbon monoxide protection. It has built a strong reputation for education and training, supporting thousands of installers and housing professionals each year through its CPD‑accredited programmes.
