Ei Electronics Chairman Mick Guinee Honoured with Two Prestigious Awards

Ei Electronics is proud to celebrate our Founder and Chairman, Mick Guinee, who recently received two distinguished honours recognising his exceptional contribution to local business and the community.

At the Ennis Chamber Business Excellence Awards, Mick was presented with the inaugural President’s Award by Chamber President Diarmuid McMahon. This Lifetime Achievement accolade reflects Mick’s outstanding impact on County Clare and the wider region over the past four decades. Ei Electronics was also proud to sponsor the Best Manufacturer Award, presented by Manufacturing Manager, Barry Loughnane to category winners Zimmer Biomet.

In addition, Mick was honoured at Shannon Chamber’s 30th Anniversary Celebration at Dromoland Castle for his unwavering support since co-founding the Chamber in 1995. As a founding director, Mick received a bespoke sculpture from INStone gallery titled “Pools of Light” by independent sculptor Colin Grehan, symbolising his remarkable contribution to the region’s growth and prosperity. The presentation, made by Shannon Chamber President Mark Nolan and CEO Helen Downes, highlighted Mick’s pivotal role in shaping the Chamber’s vision and advancing the business interests of Shannon and its surrounding districts for three decades. His leadership and commitment have helped foster innovation, sustainability, and opportunity across the region—values that continue to guide Ei Electronics today.
