App Privacy Statement
This privacy policy applies to all of the apps written by Ei Electronics.

Where do we process personal data:
Ei Electronics Apps processes data in Ireland, using a Matomo Analytics instance, set up on an Ei Electronics Amazon Web Services (AWS) instance, hosted in Ireland. The Matomo Analytics privacy statement is available at the following link: https://matomo.org/privacy/.
Purpose of the processing:
Ei Electronics processes application analytics data from the Apps. This is for the purpose of understanding telemetry about the app’s usage. There is no personal data processed in the analytics data, so there is no requirement for a legal basis for processing that data.
Data we collect:
App usage:
- How many times the app has been started.
- Version, variant operating system (provided by Matomo) The app version in use
- The app variant in use The operating system
- The device make and model, if available
Device Identifier:
A unique device identifier, which is randomly generated by Matomo. This does not identify an individual person, but rather it identifies an app installation. Multiple installations will result in multiple identifiers.
Page tracking:
- The sequence of app “pages” used
- Duration on the page Button presses
- Page navigation
Download Process count:
- How many times the download process has been started
Specific app result :
- scan, data download, installation result Success or Failure
Error messages and codes:
- If an error has occurred, we collect the error code and message if available
Device Orientation:
- The device orientation may impact the success rate. Download result: Success or Failure
Serial number:
- The unique device serial number
Recipient(s) of the data:
There are no recipients of the telemetry data.
Details of transfers to third country/countries:
We do not transfer data outside of the European Economic Area.
Data Retention period:
As there is no personal data being processed, retention is not an issue. The telemetry data that is collected by the app will be held for statistical purposes on an ongoing basis.

- Confirmation of your personal data being processed

You withdraw consent.
