Web Administrator / Graphic Designer
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Web Administrator/Designer to fulfil an important role in the area of website content management, administration, online marketing and graphic design in a busy internationally focused marketing department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing development of a fast growing modern multinational business. The role will involve reviewing the existing website and implementing recommended changes, content management, SEO and link building, improving the use of online and offline marketing and social media tools within our in-house marketing department.
Candidates should have a relevant third level qualification and be familiar with using the Adobe suite of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, as well as Joomla or similar content management packages.
The successful candidate will also have an interest and ability in design/development of websites and marketing material, must be organised, commercial minded, creative, enthusiastic, motivated and be able to work independently under the guidance of the marketing department.

This is an ideal position for a qualified accountant looking to be part of a successful business, either newly qualified or someone with more experience who is interested in contributing to an Irish indigenous business, which continues to go from strength to strength.
In addition to the duties below, the person will get exposure to product costing, report writing and analysis.
They will also have the opportunity to manage their own ad-hoc projects as we focus on supporting the business’ growth. They will work with the rest of the finance team to deliver timely management information to the management team. This is a very good position, which will allow the right person to have a challenging career in Ei Electronics.
Accountabilities:
- Preparation of month end financial statements
- Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analysis
- VAT returns
- Intrastat returns
- Stock control
- Accounts receivable
- Monthly commission calculation

As the leading European manufacturer in the Residential Fire Safety market, our product technology is acknowledged as being at the forefront of innovation in the field of fire and gas detection.
As part of our continued growth in France and in response to recent legislation in the area Ei Electronics wishes to recruit a Regional Specification Manager in the Lyon/PACA area with responsibility for the south of France. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of building sales relationships with key customers in the Smoke detector market and assisting our business partners to grow sales volumes.
The appointee will be qualified in a business or technical discipline to BAC + 3, have fluent English with strong communication/presentation skills and the motivation and initiative to work independently, in a rapidly growing market. A background in electrical/fire/security sales development with a strong emphasis on specification markets such as Housing Associations is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience introducing new product concepts and a history of building relationships with decision makers such as engineers, architects, and technical specifiers.
The role will primarily involve development of the market for the EI Smoke Detector range within key segments.

Electronics Engineer
Reports To: R & D Director
Main Purpose of Job: This is a unique opportunity for a top class Electronics Design Engineer to join this dynamic and long established Company. The position is technically challenging as well as providing a career path to senior management for someone with such ambition.
Working in a team environment, developing innovative solutions for Fire and Gas Detection products and systems.
The design work carried out involves low power analogue, low power radio transceivers and digital electronics and the interfacing of sensors including optical, heat, ionization and carbon monoxide for fire and toxic gas detection. Microcontrollers are used extensively in the company’s high volume manufacture.

The purpose of the position is to assist R & D Engineers in the development of Fire and Toxic Gas Alarms, that are reliable and meet or exceed all approval requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Assist R & D Engineers in Product Development
- Build and Test Prototypes
- Life testing of Product and components
- Verifying software, including C and Assembly
- Troubleshooting circuits to component level

Main Purpose of the Job
To ensure the lifetime reliability of our products through ongoing analysis and testing of the products from design to manufacturing to the marketplace.
Accountabilities
Critique product designs
Critique the manufacturing processes
Carry out F.M.E.A. studies on products
Analyze field returns
Carry out field tests
Devise and implement life test programs
Liaise with Product Development, Manufacturing and Sales/Marketing
